Version 1.0 — July 9, 2026
This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Spatia Designs LLC, doing business as Spatia Rents (“Spatia,” “we,” “us”) and you, the customer placing an order on spatiarents.com or at a Spatia event.
By checking the “I agree” box at checkout, you accept this Agreement. The closet kit(s), rates, and installation address in your order are part of this Agreement.
1. What you’re renting
We’re renting you the closet kit(s) in your order (the “Equipment”). The Equipment remains Spatia’s property at all times. You’re renting it, not buying it.
2. Term
This Agreement runs for 12 months starting on your installation date. You can end the rental early at any time — see Section 5 for how that works and what’s charged.
3. Payment
You’ll be billed quarterly (every 3 months, 4 payments total) to the card you provide at checkout. By accepting this Agreement, you authorize these recurring charges. If a payment fails, we’ll retry and contact you; Equipment may be removed if payment isn’t resolved within 30 days, and the remaining balance under Section 5 still applies.
4. Installation & maintenance
We install the Equipment and we maintain it. If anything comes loose, breaks under normal use, or isn’t sitting right, text us — we’ll fix it at no charge. Please don’t modify, relocate, or remove the Equipment yourself; that’s what we’re for.
5. Ending the rental early (including moving out)
You can end this rental at any time — just text or email us. When you end it before the 12-month term is up:
- The remaining balance for the rest of the term becomes due and will be charged to your card on file at the time you cancel. (Example: cancel 5 months in at $6/month, and the remaining $42 is charged once — no further quarterly payments after that.)
- We’ll schedule removal of the Equipment, typically on our next visit to your building.
Moving out? Tell us at least 14 days before your move-out date so we can remove the Equipment before you go. Your remaining balance is charged when you give notice.
Transferring to another unit in the same building? We’ll move the kit with you at no charge and this Agreement continues unchanged — no balance due.
6. End of term
At the end of the 12-month term, the rental ends and we’ll contact you to schedule removal — or, if you’d like to keep your setup, we’ll offer you the option to renew for another term. Removal is free and takes about 30 minutes. We’ll reach out before your term ends so nothing happens by surprise.
7. Access for removal
When the rental ends (end of term, early cancellation, or move-out), you agree to give us reasonable access to remove the Equipment. If we can’t retrieve the Equipment within 30 days of the rental ending despite reasonable attempts, you agree to pay the replacement value of the Equipment, charged to your card on file.
8. Care of Equipment
Normal wear and tear is on us. Damage beyond normal use (broken, bent, painted, or missing components) will be billed at replacement cost. Don’t overload shelves beyond reasonable household use.
9. Your unit, your landlord
You confirm you’re allowed to have the Equipment installed in your unit (many buildings we serve have already approved Spatia installs — ask us if you’re not sure). Our installs use standard wall anchoring; we patch our own mounting holes at removal, but any lease obligations you have to your landlord remain yours.
10. Liability
We’re responsible for damage we cause during install or removal. We’re not responsible for damage to items you place on or in the Equipment, or for issues caused by misuse or unauthorized modification.
11. The basics
This Agreement is governed by Illinois law. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stands. This is the entire agreement between us regarding the Equipment.
